Streusel Cake

Ingredients
For the streusel
- 400g flour
- 200g sugar
- 200g butter (Ratio: 1 part flour, ½ part butter, ½ part sugar)
For the dough
- 250g low-fat quark
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 100g sugar
- 500g flour
- 2 packets baking powder
- 2 packets vanilla sugar
Instructions
Prepare streusel
- Mix flour, sugar and soft butter with the mixer.
- Let the mixture sit for a bit, then form small balls (streusel) from it.
Prepare dough
- Mix quark, oil, milk, sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Mix half the flour with baking powder and stir into the other ingredients.
- Put the remaining flour on the work surface, add the first mixture and work into a homogeneous mass with your hands.
Assembly and baking
- Preheat oven to 180°C convection.
- Spread the dough mass on a large baking sheet.
- Lightly moisten surface with water.
- Distribute streusel evenly over the top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until it turns brownish.
