Yogurt Cake

A simple and moist Catalan yogurt cake where the yogurt container serves as a measure - perfect for spontaneous baking!

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Line the cake pan with parchment paper or grease with butter and dust with flour.

Prepare the batter:

  1. Mix well eggs, yogurt, sugar and oil.
  2. Add flour and baking powder and stir until a smooth cream forms.

Baking:

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  2. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  3. Do the toothpick test - when it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

Tips

  • The empty yogurt container serves as a practical measure for all other ingredients
  • Lemon yogurt gives the cake a fresh touch
  • The cake is very moist and keeps for several days
  • Can also be varied with different types of yogurt
