Yogurt Cake
A simple and moist Catalan yogurt cake where the yogurt container serves as a measure - perfect for spontaneous baking!
Ingredients
- 1 container natural or lemon yogurt
- 1 container (same size) oil
- 2 containers sugar
- 3 containers flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
- Butter or parchment paper for the pan
Instructions
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Line the cake pan with parchment paper or grease with butter and dust with flour.
Prepare the batter:
- Mix well eggs, yogurt, sugar and oil.
- Add flour and baking powder and stir until a smooth cream forms.
Baking:
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 30 minutes.
- Do the toothpick test - when it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
Tips
- The empty yogurt container serves as a practical measure for all other ingredients
- Lemon yogurt gives the cake a fresh touch
- The cake is very moist and keeps for several days
- Can also be varied with different types of yogurt
