Hazelnut Cookies
Ingredients
- 500g Flour
- 200g Sugar
- 350g Ground hazelnuts
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 400g Butter
- 2 Large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, ground hazelnuts, vanilla sugar, softened butter, and eggs.
- Mix all ingredients together until a uniform dough forms. You can use a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, a hand mixer, or your hands.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1-2 cm (about 0.4-0.8 inches).
- Using cookie cutters of your choice, cut out shapes from the dough and carefully transfer them to the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for approximately 8 minutes, or until light golden brown. The cookies should be lightly colored, not deeply browned.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
