Garlic Herb Baguette
A classic French herb butter baguette, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients
- 80g soft butter
- 1 cup chopped herbs (chives, dill, parsley)
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sugar
- Lemon juice
- 1 baguette
Instructions

Beat the soft butter until fluffy. Mix chopped herbs, salt, pepper, a little lemon juice, sugar and some grated garlic and season. Put the butter in the refrigerator.

Using a sharp knife, cut the baguette halfway through 10 times. Place herb butter slices into the cuts. Put the baguette in the oven and toast.
Notes
- The herb butter can be prepared in advance and chilled
- Don’t cut the baguette all the way through so it stays together
- Bake at 180°C for about 10-15 minutes until the baguette is crispy
