Butter Cookies

Ingredients
- 300g Butter
- 150g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
- 500g Flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- In a large bowl, cream together the room temperature butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour and knead everything into a smooth dough.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 3-4mm thickness.
- Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until light golden yellow. Baking time may vary depending on your oven, so watch the cookies carefully to prevent over-browning.
- After baking, carefully remove the butter cookies from the sheet and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
